Pioneering Vertical Storytelling: A New Era for Indian Digital Entertainment

Strategic Alliance for Digital Content Expansion

India's Epic Studios and Rusk Media Private Limited have announced a major collaboration to produce a significant slate of 50 original vertical drama series. This partnership is designed to establish the nation's most extensive library of proprietary vertical-format intellectual property, catering to evolving digital consumption habits.

Diverse Genres and Platform Synergy

The upcoming series will span a wide array of genres, including mythological narratives, intricate dramas, suspenseful mysteries, gripping thrillers, and heartwarming romances. These productions are slated to premiere exclusively on Alright! TV, Rusk Media's dedicated platform for vertical-drama content. The venture leverages Epic Studios' robust experience in television, streaming, and film production, coupled with Rusk Media's profound digital distribution capabilities.

Vision for Unprecedented Scale and Market Leadership

Aditya Pittie, Managing Director of The Epic Company, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting the rapid global and domestic growth of vertical dramas. He stated that this partnership is a pivotal step towards achieving true scale and building the largest owned library of vertical-drama IPs in India. The initial slate of 50 series is just the beginning, with ambitious plans to expand to over 250 titles by mid-next year, positioning them as a dominant independent IP owner in this dynamic sector. This collaboration with Rusk Media and Alright! TV aims to create a cohesive ecosystem that merges powerful storytelling with high-volume production.

Enhancing Digital Engagement for Younger Audiences

Karanvir Sofat, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Rusk Media, emphasized that this agreement marks a continuation of Alright! TV's commitment to delivering premium content for India's youth demographic. He underscored Epic's long-standing partnership, stating that this collaborative slate reinforces their dedication to providing compelling entertainment that aligns with the fast-paced, accessible expectations of contemporary digital viewers.
