This narrative expansion will transport players through Atsu's present-day journey and back to her pivotal experiences on the mainland during the Battle of Sekigahara, a defining moment that precedes her quest for retribution in the original game. Atsu, alongside a fresh character named Nagato, will explore an uncharted valley once serving as a stronghold for The Snake and his followers. The expansion promises new adversaries, formidable weaponry, diverse armor sets, and various dyes to customize the player's experience. Additionally, a new roguelike mode, "Most Wanted," will be introduced, challenging players to undertake bounties, defeat enemies to unlock perks, and access additional playable characters, each specializing in a distinct weapon type, such as Atsu with dual katanas, Oyuki with the kusarigama, and Nagato with the yari.
The Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition will be priced at $69.99 and includes all content from the previous Digital Deluxe Edition, along with the exclusive Charm of Hokkyokusei. Players who preorder before September 30th will also receive the Sakai Armor, an homage to Jin's attire from Ghost of Tsushima.
