Fans of thrilling horror and witty action protagonists, as well as those who appreciate characters bravely navigating perilous virtual worlds, are in for a treat this month. The esteemed voice talents behind Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft, Nick Apostolides and Angela Sant'Albano, are set to host the highly anticipated Future Games Show at Gamescom. They will guide audiences through a spectacular showcase of upcoming titles.

Nick Apostolides and Angela Sant'Albano, recently recognized for their compelling performances in Resident Evil Requiem, will be front and center at the Future Games Show. This event, organized by our colleagues, promises to unveil more than 40 games from both major AAA developers and innovative independent studios. Among the exciting reveals are titles such as Tides of Annihilation and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword has already garnered significant attention, with PC Gamer's own Morgan Park hailing it as the standout title of last year's Summer Game Fest. Its distinctive artistic flair even captivated Wes Fenlon, a critic usually disinclined towards parry-heavy action games, during his August playthrough. This title is certainly one to monitor closely.

Apostolides expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating his eagerness to present an exceptional array of games to a global audience. He emphasized that whether attendees prefer intense horror narratives, epic samurai quests, or anything in between, the show will deliver exclusive first looks, thrilling announcements, and numerous surprises.

Sant'Albano, mirroring the excitement of her co-host and a stark contrast to her character Ashcroft's understandable trepidation, also shared her anticipation. She highlighted that they would be stepping away from zombie evasions to bring forth world premieres, never-before-seen gameplay, and fresh trailers for some of the most exciting forthcoming games. Both hosts eagerly await the opportunity to share these revelations with the audience.

The main broadcast is scheduled for August 26, at 1 pm EDT/6 pm BST. Following this, FGS Live at Gamescom will offer additional previews and news directly from the bustling convention floor of Koelnmesse. Enthusiasts can also look forward to the Best of Gamescom on August 30, at 1 pm EDT/6 pm BST, featuring comprehensive recaps and insightful developer interviews.

The Future Games Show can be streamed live on platforms including Twitch and YouTube. Additionally, a concurrent broadcast will be available through our partners at GamesRadar+, ensuring widespread access to all the exciting content.

This event is poised to be a significant moment for the gaming community, bringing together prominent figures and highly anticipated titles. With a blend of established voice actors and a diverse selection of games, the Future Games Show aims to provide an engaging and informative experience for gamers worldwide.
