Fashion with a Purpose: Denim for a Brighter Future

A Continued Commitment to Mental Well-being

The Rare Impact Fund, established by Selena Gomez alongside her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, has renewed its collaboration with popular retailer Pacsun. This ongoing partnership focuses on promoting and expanding access to vital mental health services and educational resources for young individuals across the globe.

The "Rare DNM Edit" Collection

This latest release marks the sixth installment of the "Rare DNM Edit," a specially curated collection of limited-edition denim pieces. Designed with the back-to-school season in mind, the collection features a range of versatile items, including spacious baggy jeans, classic denim shorts, and chic mini skirts. These items are thoughtfully priced to be accessible, ranging from $55 to $125.

Significant Contributions for a Crucial Cause

A substantial portion of the proceeds from each sale, specifically 10%, will be directed to the Rare Impact Fund. The collaboration has set an ambitious maximum contribution goal of $300,000, underscoring its commitment to making a tangible difference. This initiative builds on a successful track record; since its inception in 2024, the partnership between Pacsun and the Rare Impact Fund has already generated more than $2 million. These funds have been crucial in supporting youth mental health through various channels, including product sales and customer donations.

Empowering Youth Through Fashion

Elyse Cohen, President of the Rare Impact Fund and Chief Impact Officer at Rare Beauty, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. She highlighted the belief that every young person deserves to commence their academic year with the reassurance of having support. The partnership with Pacsun is particularly effective, she noted, because it connects with young people through fashion, creating opportunities to discuss mental health openly and facilitating access to essential support systems.
